When I was five years old I was 100% obsessed with Captain Eo, the EPCOT 3-D spectacular starring Michael Jackson and Angelica Huston, produced by George Lucas, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, with puppets by Jim Henson, and with music and choreography by Michael Jackson (duh).  I’ve posted about Captain Eo before but figured that it was okay to re-post on my list considering the following:

The short is about a motley space crew led by Michael Jackson’s Captain Eo.  They have to go to a “dark planet” to convince Angelica Huston’s evil queen to return to the light side.  Or something like that.  Regardless, they accomplish this mission via the powers of SONG AND DANCE y’all.  This is probably my favorite part.  The vanquishing of evil via song and dance.
